Old Proverb

Plant a seed, plant a flower, plant a rose

You can plant any one of those

Keep planting to find out which one grows

It's a secret no one knows

Mmm bop,

ba duba dop ba du bop,

ba duba dop ba du bop,

ba duba dop ba du

  1. Okay girl, pass some green thumb this way; mine is as black as can be. We are attempting an upside down tomato plant, cucumber plant, and a zucchini plant; we will see how they turn out. Cross your fingers and pray hard!

  2. Carrie, I don't have all that much of a green thumb. We learned last year that the key to gardening is COMPOST. We dumped some in part of our garden last year and everything in that section grew to be huge! I had a dream the other night that we were growing marigolds a foot in diameter. I don't think that'll happen though. You'll have to tell me how your hanging tomato plant works out. I was tempted to buy one. Also, our cucumber plant failed last year because of poor pollination. The cucumbers were mishapen and bitter. So be sure to have some flowers around to attract bees. This is my first year of doing zucchini. My leaves were starting to get powdery mildew and I read that you can spray a 10-20% solution of milk on the leaves once a week and it should help. So I took off the bad leaves and sprayed the milk on the good leaves and so far it looks good. Good luck! What matters is that you're trying!! We only started a few years ago and we have learned so much.

Were you able to download the geese pictures?
