Baby Pictures

Today after lunch we sat on the porch and ate Jelly Bellies.  The kids had a good time asking, "What's this flavor?" for every single Jelly Bean that they ate.  I had to reach into the depths of my adolescence and try to remember which color was which flavor. The ones I remember most are buttered popcorn, toasted marshmallow, watermelon, rootbeer, cotton candy, tutti frutti, and banana.  Buttered Popcorn is my favorite. 

While we were outside I decided to take some baby pictures of some of our vegetable plants.  I knew I would regret it if I didn't.

This is Sarah's pumpkin.

This is my green onion.

This is broccoli.  I bought 9 plants at Lowes.  I've never grown broccoli before, so we'll see how it goes.

This is cucumber and a sunflower (in back).  I am going to have A LOT of cucumbers.  I think I have like 25 plants that will be growing along the fence.  I think I will learn how to pickle this year.  I think I have like 20 sunflowers.  I'm into excess this year.

 

I think this is Cotton Candy.  I wish we could plant Jelly Bellies.
