Thursday

I want to cry because I am such a bad blogger. I'm sure my audience is moving on to more exciting blogs. People who blog everyday and post pictures. Please hang in there with me. Please!

I watched a lot of TV tonight, ate an ice cream sandwich, and drank some hot chocolate because, brrrrr, it's like 60 degrees outside and I have the window open. I love to finally be able to open the windows. My kids' bedroom smells like a perpetual fart from being closed to the world all summer. Finally some relief. Bradley has been habitually crawling into bed with us for the past couple of weeks. He claims he's scared, but his subconscious is probably telling him to get away from the toxic fumes.

I have a lot of laundry to fold tomorrow. Yuck. But at least it's Friday when I can have an official date night to sit with my husband on the couch and catch up on some So You Think You Can Dance and The Office. Yay for date night!

  1. Hot Chocolate! I need some! Its 55 outside and our front window is a nice plastic tarp (tomorrow it will be super fancy nice windows and I will sit and stare at it while listening to conference). Looks like its time to open that food storage cocoa now. Or maybe make some from scratch. Either one sounds delightful.

  3. I'm still here-and totally understand the "non blogging" mood. I'm lucky if I get one a week in right now!

Thanks for the perpetual fart for my mind's eye-a good laugh before I take a nap! Enjoy the cooler weather! It was 34 degrees here this morning-and I was running in it-yuck!

  4. I'm still here if you are! I can barely reach the computer because of my large mound, but I will always check in on you! BTW, the friends moving into this neighborhood got some friends to move in. So we are starting this, you get three friends, who get three friends, and eventually we'll have a ward! So, when you moving here?? :)

  5. Lori - 34 is WAY too cold for me in October. I'm impressed that you even went outside! Great commitment!

Amber - this kind of sounds like multi-level, pyramid scheme ward building. Is that legal? :) Yeah, and my husband is, like, supposed to be starting a job next week. However, they've been telling him that for the past month. And like anyone would ever want to buy my house. No realtor is ever going to want to take on a house where the master bedroom is converted to a 6 kid nursery, crayon is on every wall, and crap is everywhere!

  6. The vivid imagery of toxic fumes and a 6 kid nursery is cracking me up. My husband had an organization meltdown on Saturday night when he found out the vacuum's home is in the upstairs hall (it's been housed there for 2 years now). Megan doesn't mind the extra barrier next to her door to keep the little kids out of her room, but he put it in the kitchen. No realtors for our house either.

  7. It's okay...I'm taking a blog break too. The honeymoon made me a bum and getting back on the blogging horse really takes effort!
