Ok. Ok. Ok. I'm going to blog tonight, but it's kind of difficult typing with one hand since I have an ice cream sandwich in my other. Hold on......

Ok. There. Both hands free and fingers licked clean.

I actually have some energy this evening because I totally concked (konked?) out this afternoon on the family room floor. I was finished schooling the children, but I felt a little guilty for skipping social studies and/or science. So I put on the Discover Kids channel and they watched Time Warp Trio, Grossology, and Kenny the Shark. I think they learned something about something in history, how a scab forms, and something about sharks. I don't know because I was dreaming about being at a church event and they were serving donuts, muffins, cupcakes, and other yummy stuff. I love delicious dreams. But I woke up so groggy and hungry! It wasn't a deep sleep because the cartoon dialogue was part of my dream.

At dinner I made up for my slackness and we talked about the Titanic. The movie was on TNT last night as I was going to bed. I had only seen the movie once in the theatre. I caught the last half on TV and then TNT played an encore presentation so I tried to stay up and watch the first half, but I fell asleep. The children seemed to be fascinated with the story. I feel successful now.

I also want another ice cream sandwich.....

Oh yeah, and General Conference was great this weekend. I totally enjoyed listening to the talks and now have a desire to be a better person. I especially liked President Monson's talk, but that is a post for another day....

Oh yeah, and today is Emily's half birthday. She is very excited to be halfway to nine years old. She's growing up and she's going to start getting boobs soon. I don't know if I'm ready for that!
