It clicked with Bradley the other day. He said, "Mommy, I get it! He's dreaming of a white Christmas because he wants it to snow."
"That's right, Bradley." Then I realized my son has never seen snow before.
Then he asked, "But, Mommy, what's a blue Christmas?"
He's also still trying to figure out why people get a Santa metal feeling when they hear voices singing. "Let's be jolly; deck the halls with balls of holly."
Haha! Though, maybe I'm clueless too--what IS a blue Christmas?
ReplyDeleteAnd, I got a wonderful and fun card made by Bradley! I love it, and the picture too. Thanks so much!
A blue Christmas a Christmas that your sad either because you cannot spend it with your love or because Santa is not coming because he is sick.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got the card. I guess it made it with only $0.42 postage. The kids fought over whose card would go to Chera. Obviously, Bradley won.
I know, I was surprised that $0.42 worked, but I'm not going to complain! It saves you a trip to the post office for a $1.20 stamp or whatever it normally would be. Well, I'm glad to have a card by Bradley because I still have Emily's Halloween Card on my wall. So now the other kids just need to draw me a picture and I'll put them up too. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, now a blue Christmas makes sense. I'm pretty sure, though, that Mrs Clause makes sure that Santa takes plenty of Vitamin C during December so that he's healthy enough to travel.
do you think I can mail Bradley some snow in a box? would it survive? ha ha ha we have plenty to spare!
ReplyDeleteSorry this is Becky.. I am on my moms computer! Thats who Lola is!
