Store brand Honey Nut Toasted oats were on sale at the grocery store. I told David to buy all that they had. He came home with 2 dozen boxes. If times get tough, we'll be eating lots of cereal and tuna!

I absolutely LOVE it when cereal is on sale! I won't pay full price...ever! I won't pay more that $2 a box, I guess I'm cheap like that! I hope you got a great deal. Walter rolls his eyes every time I come home with a crap load of cereal like that. I'm so impressed that you got David to make the purchased. Nicely done! And, if there is ever a famine, we'll know where to go for breakfast! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I've trained David well. Luckily he is not easily embarassed. He even went to the customer service desk to get a refund for an extra box that they charged him for. I was hoping it was a good deal. I paid $2 for a 20 oz. box. I feel good that it meets your standards. They are normally $2.66. So I saved almost $16. Woo hoo! Let's go to the movies!
