We swim or go to the park every day and I just want an excuse to have to stay in for once, lol!Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07677860974221886264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19557769.post-28739095970730464362011-06-07T04:33:18.623-04:002011-06-07T04:33:18.623-04:00I LOVE roasted chicken! The first couple of times I did it I was a little weirded out, but I think it's funny that you can move the legs and wings. ;) Yours looks delicious. (Very cost effective too, for living here, when chicken breasts cost the same as buying a whole chicken and the latter can last the whole week...) If you get the skin really crispy you can have the kids arguing for that as well. Try sprinkling some garlic salt on the outside next time, too, with a little bit of lemon juice and that will get the skin really tasty. And whoever didn't get a drumstick can get a wing...

I wish my basil was growing... when did you plant them? Maybe mine are just slow. The herbs you're growing are really versatile. I like to add a bit of basil to scrambled eggs sometimes, or when making an omelet. And when I don't have any spaghetti sauce and want pasta, some olive oil, garlic salt, and the mixed herbs make for a really nice 'white pasta'.Cherahttp://vagabondmemoirs.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19557769.post-5312717484154185742011-06-07T00:29:28.398-04:002011-06-07T00:29:28.398-04:00Glad to see you back and now up to date.
